PRE-K 3 PROGRAM

AN INTRODUCTION TO SCHOOL

We offer a flexible program for Pre-K 3. Students can come 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week for half or full days. The full day schedule runs from 8:00AM-2:00PM, but we also offer flexible start and end times for PK.

CURRICULUM

Introduces children to a school setting with group activities. Foundational reading and phonics skills are taught while maintaining a fun atmosphere to promote a positive attitude toward school for future years.

Circle time, theme lessons, share time, and daily prayer. 

Weather, letters, numbers, shapes, color. 

WEEKLY THEMES

Each week is focussed on a letter and a theme. 

Weekly themes include: Shapes, Colors, Holidays, Rules and Manners, Seasons, Plants, God’s Creations.

CHILD MUST BE 3 YEARS OLD BY DECEMBER 1 OF THAT ACADEMIC YEAR AND MUST BE POTTY TRAINED

A DAY OF FUN AND LEARNING

We offer a flexible program for Pre-K 4, as well. Students can come 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week for half or full days. The full day schedule runs from 8:00AM-2:00PM.

ACADEMICS

Circle time: weather, letters, numbers, shapes, color, weekly theme, daily prayer.

Literacy: alphabet, letter sounds, print concept, pre-writing skills, reading and book activities, American Sign Language.

Math: numbers and counting, shapes, sorting, patterns, sizes and measuring, more and less, matching.  

Science: colors, plants, animals, sound, weather, and science experiments.

SPECIALS

Physical Education, Art, & Music classes

INCLUDED IN OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY

PK 4 students are invited to all of our school events.  They attend our monthly school Masses, take part in our two annual concerts and are invited to participate in our after school extracurricular activities.
